This piece began the way all Thelma Quilts designs do—quietly, in a small studio, with fabric laid out and a design taking shape one piece at a time.
Each floral element is hand-cut, placed, and fused individually, creating a quilted cotton tote bag that feels both simple and deeply considered.
Designed in-studio by artist Kim Exshaw of Thelma Quilts, this piece reflects a slower, more intentional way of making—where every detail matters and nothing is rushed.
