This piece began the way all Thelma Quilts designs do—quietly, in a small cottage studio, with fabric laid out and a design taking shape one piece at a time.
Each appliqué element is carefully cut and placed to create a bold, balanced floral composition across the back. The result is a denim shirt that feels both grounded and expressive—something you can throw on easily, but still feel completely yourself in.
